LET’S TALK BUSINESS - Helping Aussies help themselves

Glasshouse Wealth celebrates its first year in Beerwah amid challenging times for Australians.

After more than 12 months operating from its Beerwah office, Glasshouse Wealth founder Chris Carlin (pictured) says the past year has reinforced the importance of quality financial advice and long-term planning.

An award-winning financial planner with more than 15 years of experience in financial services, Chris established Glasshouse Wealth with a simple mission: helping everyday Australians take control of their finances and build long-term wealth.

Located at 4/13 Turner Street, Beerwah, Glasshouse Wealth has quickly become a trusted financial planning practice for clients across the Glasshouse and Hinterland Region and throughout Australia.

For Chris, the past 12 months have been among the most challenging and unpredictable periods he has witnessed throughout his career.

"Australians have faced a lot of uncertainty recently," Chris said.

"We've seen ongoing cost-of-living pressures, rising interest rates, global conflicts including the war in the Middle East, and significant changes proposed through the recent Federal Budget. It's understandable that many people are feeling uncertain about what the future holds."

Chris said these events have highlighted the value of having a clear financial plan and receiving ongoing advice, particularly for retirees and those approaching retirement.

"When markets become volatile and headlines become overwhelming, people naturally become concerned about their savings and investments," he said.

"One of the most important roles we play as advisers is helping clients remain focused on their long-term goals rather than reacting to short-term events."

Since opening in Beerwah, Glasshouse Wealth has continued to grow, assisting individuals, couples and families with wealth creation, superannuation, retirement planning, personal insurance and investment advice.

While many of Chris's clients are approaching retirement or already retired, he remains passionate about helping younger Australians establish strong financial foundations early in life.

"The decisions people make in their 20s and 30s can have a huge impact on where they end up financially decades later," he said.

"At the same time, retirees deserve confidence that the wealth they've spent a lifetime building will continue to support them throughout retirement. Good advice can help provide that confidence."

Chris believes the key to long-term financial success remains unchanged despite economic and political uncertainty.

"There will always be another crisis, another market correction or another major news story," he said.

"But history shows that people who stay focused on their long-term objectives and continue making good decisions are often rewarded over time."

As Glasshouse Wealth enters its second year in Beerwah, Chris remains committed to helping local families, established professionals and retirees navigate an increasingly complex financial landscape through practical, evidence-based financial advice.

"Good financial advice isn't about predicting the future," Chris said.

"It's about helping people prepare for it. Whether you're building wealth, approaching retirement or already retired, having a plan and someone in your corner can make all the difference."
