We were born at the right time, with the right gifts to be all we were intended to be at any age through being our authentic self.
Sometimes there’s a fight to unearth our authenticity because we’ve been shaped by our circumstances; our upbringing or any of the other life situations that can often derail us.
It’s about being “real” and not about chasing perfection, but allowing others to see your imperfections, your growth and your truth.
People who are great at what they do, see what they do differently than anyone else and serve others doing it, and that’s makes them fearlessly authentic.
So where do we start? Connection is the key. First connect with yourself. Consider people who you know in your world such as doctors, teachers, restaurateurs, and others who truly serve with their gifts.
What they do comes so easily and effortlessly to them it seems to leak out of their souls and connects them to you.
This is the second key, connection and specifically connecting to others. Sincere authenticity draws people to you and creates trust. It’s not based on appearances or self-indulgence; it’s sharing your authenticity.
Ralph Waldo Emersom once wrote, “Nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm”, and that is exactly what living authentically does.
Life becomes more about sharing and caring as you are now aligning with your authentic self.
Life is too short to not live with meaning and purpose, so connect with who you are on the inside and become all you were intended to be.
The world really does need that special gift that only you can give and when you start to give it, you’ll see life through the eyes of serving others and that’s where true authenticity lives.
Don’t wait for perfection just align with your talents and see your life expanding authentically.
