HOLISTIC - Celebrating RangeCare’s volunteers

Since its beginnings in 1986, RangeCare has relied on the generosity of local volunteers to support the organisation in its efforts to provide the community with an exceptional level of care.  

Today, RangeCare has an incredible team of over 160 volunteers who generously contribute thousands of hours of their time each year. This dedication to serving the local region allows RangeCare to support clients and community members in living their best life by delivering a comprehensive range of services. 

Each year during the month of May they celebrate National Volunteer Week (May 19-25), and take this opportunity to celebrate volunteers and share how their contributions have helped to shape RangeCare over the years.  

“Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting both our clients and staff. Through volunteering with us, many people make new connections in the community, feel a sense of meaning and purpose,” said RangeCare’s Volunteer Coordinator, Bec Harper.

RangeCare wishes to extend a huge thank you to every single volunteer at the RangeCare. No matter how many hours you contribute, every role is important to be able to help clients live independently and happily. 

“You truly are such an integral part of, not only the organisation, but the community in which we live. RangeCare is grateful for your commitment to serving our community,” said Bec.
