CREATIVE CUTS - Alliteration

Jessica Ainsworth's new exhibition, ALLITERATION (a series of words beginning with the same letter or sound), takes you on a journey of self exploration and light-hearted mischief.

Jessica (pictured) uses acrylics, charcoal, texture, bold colours and evocative forms in a playful collection of paintings to delight and deliver a dynamic dialogue between artist and viewer.

Alliterative titles create a sense of joy and pure play, with in some cases layered meanings of vulnerability, healing and strength.

This exhibition is a celebration of humour, personal narratives and universal struggles, told with unflinching honesty, visual energy and vibrancy.

Jessica invites you to join her for an evening of art, language and community to launch this unique figurative series of works. Meet the artist, enjoy a beverage and light refreshments and immerse yourself in 25 compelling visual stories.

The Zone Gallery, 89 McCarthy Rd. Maleny, Saturday October 17, 5pm until 8pm, then open for further viewing Sunday 18th - Wed 21 October, 1pm - 4pm.
