COMMUNITY NEWS - Clothes Swap

Chappy Jess has organised a low-cost teenage Clothes Swap at Maleny State High School. This event aims to raise funds for the School Chaplaincy Program, while also promoting sustainable fashion, reducing textile waste and providing affordable clothing to students, families and the wider community. For just $5, students and community members can choose up to 10 items from the Clothes Swap.

The Clothes Swap will be held at Waroo Hall on Friday October 16, before school 8 – 9am, during 1st and 2nd Breaks, and after school, from 3 – 4pm.

Chappy Jess is asking students, parents and families to donate good-quality and suitable teenage clothing to help make the Clothes Swap a success.

Donations can be dropped off at the school or placed in green bags located in some churches and at The Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.
