COMMUNITY NEWS - Nambour Historical Walk

The historical walk on the eastern side of Currie Street, Nambour, is happening on Thursday November 5, meeting at the library in Bury Street at 9am. This is a follow-up to the walk held in September on the western side of Currie Street which everyone enjoyed immensely. 

This walk will continue along Howard Street, discussing what buildings used to be there and what is there now using many old photographs and then back via Lowe Street. This will be a great way to learn more of the history of Nambour. 

As numbers are limited, bookings must be made prior to the day. Cost is $10 which can be paid by phoning Genealogy Sunshine Coast on 07-5329-2315 or visiting their premises in Petrie Park Road, opposite the Aquatic Centre. Please bring a hat, water and good walking shoes.
