CREATIVE CUTS - The Eumundi Writers Festival

The Eumundi Writers Festival is proud to welcome one of Australia's most recognisable public figures back to the community that helped shape his early years, with Hon. Dr Kevin Rudd AC, Australia's 26th Prime Minister, returning to Eumundi for a special festival appearance on Saturday, September 5. 

Festival audiences will hear Dr Rudd in conversation with Clancy Overell, Editor of The Betoota Advocate—Australia's wildly popular satirical news publication renowned for its sharp political and cultural commentary—in what promises to be one of the festival's most anticipated events.

Festival Director, Dr Suzanne Campin said: "There's something very special about welcoming Kevin Rudd back to Eumundi, where he spent much of his childhood.This homecoming embodies what the Eumundi Writers Festival is all about—bringing people together through stories, conversation and shared history."
