The Khaita Tibetan Annual Festival will take place on Saturday December 11, at Beerwah Community Hall from 10am to 12.30pm. You are invited! It is a free community event to promote a vibrant, diverse, and fun life by showcasing Tibet and Tibetan Culture through Khaita. With joyful song and dance performances and a Tibetan Arts workshop.

The Khaita Annual Festival’s mission is to carry on the legacy and inspiration of Professor Namkhai Norbu (Chogyal Namkhai Norbu) by organising and promoting various cultural activities related to the heritage of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu to support the individual and social evolution of human beings in harmony with its own environment.

The Khaita activities have been featured at other multicultural festivals on the Sunshine Coast but this is the second year that the Khaita Tibetan Festival has been held and sponsored by Sunshine Coast Council.
