On October 16, on the oval at the Old Witta School, the Witta Market community will burst into life again. With the exciting growing range of small businesses who participate in the market, there is always something new to be discovered.
As the mornings warm up and the sun rises a little earlier each morning, it’s the time of year when plants, in our garden, veggie patch or in our homes, all spring to life.
At the market, we have a fantastic range of plant vendors who have plants to fill any space, both outside and inside your home. From the hard-to-find speciality plants for the experienced gardener, to the common and reliable plants for the novice, there’s something to suit all curious green thumbs.
If growing vegetables is your interest, don’t miss your monthly opportunity to get your hands on the wide range of great vegetable seedlings available at the market!
For October we are excited to welcome the very talented Karl S Williams to our music marquee. Karl is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and poet. He creates music with foundations in blues, roots, folk, and Americana, however not as you’ve ever heard before. Don’t miss your chance to catch him playing at the market this month!
Bring a picnic rug and enjoy these gorgeous spring mornings, while getting your market favourites. Whether it be a pastry from one of our wonderful bakeries or patisserie, or a breakfast crepe.
Maybe your market favourite is a coffee and a Portuguese tart while listening to the music. Maybe it’s exploring all the artists and treating yourself to one of their beautiful unique pieces. Or maybe it’s getting your hands on some of the freshest heirloom vegetables available.
This October, share with us your Witta Market favourites on our social media @wittamarket!
See you at the Old Witta School on the third Saturday, October 16!
