Market Aug 21

Warm up this month at the Mapleton Country Markets on Saturday August 28 from 8am to 12 noon with our mouth-watering waffles (gluten free and regular) with seasonal fruit from the kitchen.  A barista-made coffee from ‘Coffee and a Cookie’ or an egg and bacon roll from the Blackall Range Lions Club.

Zed from Worms Plus will have his magical elixir of worm juice, just bring your litre containers and he will fill with his liquid gold, all from good old mother nature. Being a natural insect repellent with disease suppressant qualities and 100% organic, it’s sure to make your plants and vegetables grow bigger and healthier.  Ask Zed about the ratio of the mix to water as it is concentrated.

Inside the hall, Garth has affordable handcrafted wooden homewares which are made from sustainably sourced timber with each piece being unique. Garth has lovingly been handcrafting for many years and his love of his hobby shows, as his homewares are both decorative and useful for your home or as a gift.

Ask John about his edible natives, medicinal plants, bush tucker foods, seedlings and lilies. He has a wide selection available including finger limes, large-fruited raspberry, guava, feijoa, Brazilian cherry and edible lilly pillies, riberry, currant bush and blue quandong to name a few.

Don’t forget to bring your bags and pick up some fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, nuts, honey, Bunya Nut Pesto, avos, jams and chutneys, or grab a gift from our artisans.

As a member of the newly formed Hinterland Market Trail we welcome our new stall holders and encourage new stall holders to apply.
